Interview conducted by Jim M. Dandy as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 19 March 1991. Rainer talks about living in Orem, Utah and on the reservation in San Carlos, Arizona. She talks about her school experiences in the various places she has lived and her experiences as a Mormon. She talks about atttending Brigham Young University.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program. Plans were officially announced in February of 1954 with the completion deadline being set for December of the same year.
